About Coral

Coral class are following the Sixth form phase - My Independence curriculum. This curriculum is unique to each individual pupil's EHCP targets and we keep the pupil at the centre of our teaching and learning.

We have eight pupils in our class with ages ranging from 15-19.

Our week is based around four ASDAN areas; Good health, Independent Living, Employment and Community. We focus on our pupils becoming as independent as possible, when they leave George Hastwell and run weekly enterprise sessions centred around their interests.

Pupils in this class are currently aiming for their Bronze award in the Duke of Edinburgh qualification.
