About Coral

Coral class are following a mix of the semi- formal and pre-formal curriculum. This curriculum is unique to each individual pupil and we keep the pupil at the centre of our teaching and learning.

We have nine pupils in our class with ages ranging from 15-19.

Our curriculum involves lots of sensory regulation and Independent living. Some of the activities we do include Sensory exploration, messy play and a lot of water play!!

Most of our focus in class is promoting communication. We follow programmes such as Intensive interaction and TACPAC which the pupils enjoy.

Our pupils also follow ASDAN - My Independence and The Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award.
