About Pelican

Pelican class are following the Informal Pathway - Towards Independence curriculum. This curriculum is unique to each individual pupil's EHCP targets and we keep the pupil at the centre of our teaching and learning.

We have five pupils in our class with ages ranging from 13-17.

Our week is based around four ASDAN areas; Good health, Independent Living, Employment and Community. We focus on our pupils becoming as independent as possible, when they leave George Hastwell and run weekly enterprise sessions centred around their interests.
