All Starfish Pupils follow a pre-formal curriculum; an individualised pathway, focused on developing early communication skills, fostering routines and meeting sensory needs.
Starfish pupils work 1:1 with staff developing communication through strategies such as intensive interaction, developing an understanding of cause and effect through switch toys and games and learning about their body through their personalised sensory diet.
In our second classroom are Starfish pupils who follow the Multi- Sensory Impairment Curriculum. This specialist classroom allows pupils to safely explore their environment, enjoying lots of floor space, our BeActive Box and Resonance Board.
