Uniform

School uniform plays a key role in promoting pride, self-confidence and a feeling of belonging.  We encourage all pupils to wear a school uniform. We do understand that some pupils need to wear alternative clothing due to mobility and independence and ask that where possible these are in line with school uniform colours.

We do understand that some pupils need to wear alternative clothing due to mobility and independence and ask that where possible these are in line with school uniform colours.

We also know that some pupils feel uncomfortable with certain clothing and shoes which limits the choices of what can be bought or worn.

We are happy for uniform to be adjusted to meet needs. Please talk to school about your individual situation.

We do have some spare items of uniform in school, please ask if you require any items.

Some pupils are provided with specialist footwear by orthotics, which they should wear at all times.

The uniform consists of:

  • Red sweatshirt or cardigan, preferably with the school logo.
  • White polo shirt, preferably with the school logo.
  • Black trousers, skirt or pinafore. If wearing a skirt, you may wish to consider wearing black cycling shorts underneath for modesty.
  • Black shoes.
  • Summer uniform – red checked dress.

PE

  • White t-shirt, with or without logo.
  • Black shorts.
  • Black pumps or trainers.

Swimming

  • Swimsuit or trunks.
  • A T-shirt (preferably not cotton) and shorts can be worn by pupils over their costumes.
